Creamy Cucumbers

½ cup vinegar 

¼ cup water 

3 tbsp sugar 

2 tsp salt 

3/4 cup sour cream 

½ cup mayonnaise 

¼ cup tangy dill relish 

2 English cucumber sliced thin 

1 medium onion sliced thin 

Instructions 

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over cucumbers and onions. Cover and chill overnight. Drain very well next day. Mix sour cream and mayo and relish. Add to Cucumbers tossing gently to thoroughly coat cucumbers. Chill until serving. Makes 8 servings.
