½ cup Lactantia Butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
2 cups diced peeled apples
½ (225 g) package of Chipits Skor Toffee bits
TOPPING:
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp brown sugar
¼ cup Lactantia Butter
½ (225 g) pkg Chipits Skor toffee bits
1 cup chipits Chocolate Chips
CAKE: Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixer bowl until light
and fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed
mixture alternately with sour cream making 3 dry and 2 liquid additions. Fold in
apples and Skor bits. Spread batter evenly in greased 13” x 9” cake pan.
COMBINE all topping ingredients, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over
batter.
BAKE at 350° for 35-45 mins or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out
clean.
TIP: An ideal cake for lunch boxes. Wrap individual pieces and freeze, then
use when making lunch. It will be perfectly thawed by noon.
